I watched the video of the head stomping carefully. The film clearly showed that at the moment of the incident, the woman was not fighting back, not resisting at all. Having already been subdued there was no need or reason for any type of force extreme. Head stomping, in my opinion, constitutes extreme force. This action was not only uncalled for it was gratuitously violent and that the perpetrator could so glibly excuse himself and convince others that he was victimized by the woman lying at his feet, is frightening. It is “doublespeak” at its best. That he was charged with a misdemeanor, assault 4, after inflicting a concussion on his victim, shows just how little the criminal justice system here in Kentucky values women.
