Thinking

Today I nearly ran into a man (literally) who clearly had an aversion to thinking. The car crash was averted only because I have really fast reflexes.  We were  at a four-way stop and neither was signaling. I assumed that meant we were both going straight ahead. Silly me; I should never assume. He made a left turn.

Most people would rather die than think: many do.
