Keeping an Eye on our Government

The U.S. Senate passed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act on Thursday, January 22, 2009; the vote count was 61 to 36.

Both KENTUCKY SENATORS VOTED AGAINST the Fair Pay Act that prohibits wage discrepancies based on age, gender, race or ethnicity.

Just one question: How can the women of Kentucky continue to support senators who show no regard or respect toward working women?

By refusing to vote for the Fair Pay Act, Senators McConnell and Bunning continue to treat women as second-class citizens.

I don’t know about any of you, but I feel very much like a first class citizen. Join me and we will prove to both our senators that pay back is a bitch!  The countdown to the next reelection is on!
