About

I was born and raised in New York City, but I spent most of my adult life on Long Island where I raised my three beautiful daughters.

At a time when women had three career choices: become a nurse, teacher or secretary, I taught Spanish in both public and private schools. Teaching was not my first career choice, but from the moment I stepped into the classroom for the first time, I knew this was it for me.

In addition to teaching, I dabbled in real estate management and when there was time, I indulged in writing. I am happiest when I am writing, which brings me to blogging. I think I will be happy for a long time.
